Alpha R8 Rosin Flux is a medium solids rosin containing flux, formulated for wavesoldering where residues are not required to be removed. It has the ability to suppress the tendency of solder to form icicles and bridges between closely spaced conductors or component leads. Alpha R8 rosin flux is produced from water white gum rosin dissolved in a solvent blend together with activators and anti-icicling agents. These are chosen for maximum effectiveness whilst meeting the requirements of specifications covering corrosion and surface insulation resistance.
